Returns


Please note: You are responsible for cost of shipping parts back to us & for the shipping cost of the replacement parts. Our liability on parts is only limited to replacement or refund of the returned parts. We are not able to refund the cost of shipping parts back to us, and you will be responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement parts to you unless the item is found to be defective. There is a 20% restocking fee on all returns.


RETURNS/EXCHANGES

No merchandise will be accepted for return more than 14 days after receipt, and never without our written approval or RA number on the box. You must email, call, or fax us stating reason for the return/exchange and for a RA Number (return authorization) before you send back any items. This number must be written clearly on the box. A 20% restocking fee is made on all returns, unless the item is defective or shipped in our error. If a return is damaged or incomplete and we do decide to allow the return, your restocking fee may be higher. We DO NOT refund shipping charges. To receive a refund, less shipping, the items MUST be complete and still in the original packaging without any deterioration (such as dirt, damage, pack open, damaged documentation, incomplete return). Please allow 14 days to process your refund from the date we receive your return. All items installed/test fitted are not returnable
We encourage you to send back any returns with tracking numbers & insurance for your protection. We are not responsible for lost items being returned to us. No refund on items lost in transit.

RA Numbers are only valid for 10 days from the date they are issued. Returns received after 10 days from when the RA was issued will be refused.



The following items CAN NOT be returned, exchanged or refunded:

Electrical Parts / Brake System items / Glass items / Fuel System items / NOS Items  / Sheet Metal Parts / Exhausts & Mufflers / Rubber O-Rings  –  this includes ignition kits, all spark plugs, all relays, switches, fuses, bulbs, points, misc. ignition parts, fuel line, clamps, fuel parts, all brake system parts,  windshields, fenders All Exchanges, all No Cost part replacements can not be returned, exchanged or refunded.

Carburetors - this is limited only to the complete carburetors. If you order a carburetor and then realize you need a different one - they can be returned given they have not been installed.

Books, Parts Catalogs, Manuals and Magazines - Unfortunately, too many people making copies, getting the info they need, not liking something after they read it, etc., has forced us to make these items not returnable.

Clutch Parts
- this is limited to clutch plate kits.

Special Ordered Items
– i.e. – custom hardware, custom piston parts, custom rubber parts, custom or rush order from Europe (including ignition kits, rubber, sun visors, etc.), custom decals, custom bearing or seal kits, etc…

Installed Items – We do not take back any installed parts or test fitted parts. To help avoid this, please do the following:

1) Make sure you order the correct parts! If you have an application question, please let us know.

2) Make sure you got what you ordered! Compare everything with your confirmation email or invoice from your order, as soon as you receive your package from us.

3) Make sure the parts we sent you are like the parts you are replacing. Compare it BEFORE you install it.

4) Further, make sure you like the part before you install it. Deciding you suddenly don't like the item after it's installed does not change the fact that it has been installed and is not returnable.

5) Make sure you know what you are doing and qualified to do it. We are not responsible for incorrectly installed parts.

Modified Parts – If you modify a part to make it fit your application, it is non-returnable and non-refundable. If you have an application or installation question, please let us know. We will do our best to help!

1) Modifying including "fixing" of parts to make "it work"!

2) Damaging and/or abusing parts to "fix" and "make them work"!

3) Modification of the parts for any reason and in whatever way, shape or form!

WARRANTY INFO:

For any item with a manufacturer's warranty, you must contact the manufacturer to work out any warranty issues. 914Central, LLC does not warranty any item.


PRE-ORDERS/BACKORDERS

Any item not in stock at the time of the order may be available for backorder. If you do not want items backordered you MUST contact us, otherwise we will charge your credit card and ship your backorder when it becomes available.

All backorders not filled within 30 days (4 weeks) will be cancelled automatically. If we believe we can't fill your backorder within 30 days at the time you order, we will inform you and cancel the item. Backorders under $25 will automatically be cancelled. Shipping on backordered items depends upon the items in question. their size & weight and where they are going.


CUSTOMER NOTICE 48 HOUR TIME LIMIT

Missing parts in your order? Does your invoice indicate the item's been backordered? Check the box and packing material carefully. Sometimes small parts may get lost in the packing material. Our small parts are usually bagged & labeled in a way that stands out. We may staple small parts together or tape them to the larger parts. Please inspect the entire package. Has the package been tampered with or damaged in a way that parts could have fallen out?

Damaged parts? We take extra care to make sure that your parts are packed properly. If you receive a damaged item and the box shows signs of any damage, call the freight carrier and request inspection. Do not discard any of the packing material. Do not return a box without contacting us first to receive an RA number. In order to file a claim for missing or damaged merchandise you must carry out these instructions within 48 hours.
